The audio is only used to transcribe it and is deleted from our servers when done; your account keeps the transcript and its analysis. To transcribe and analyse it, the audio goes through OpenAI and the text through Anthropic. We do not sell your data. If you record guests, let them know the episode will be transcribed.
Frequently asked questions
Does publishing the transcript help SEO?
Yes. Google does not index audio. If you publish the transcript (full or adapted as an article) on your site, you can capture search traffic for the keywords your podcast covers.
Does VOCAP create subtitles for YouTube?
No. VOCAP gives you the full text without timestamps, so it does not create SRT or VTT files. For synced subtitles you need a subtitling tool (YouTube, for example, generates them from the video).
How much does it cost for a weekly podcast?
The 5h pack for €7.99 covers five 1-hour episodes (a month of weekly episodes). The 12h pack for €14.99 covers nearly three months. No subscription, no expiry.
Does it work with guests in another language?
VOCAP detects the language of the audio automatically. If the whole episode is in another language, no problem. If it mixes languages (half Spanish, half English), the switches may come out worse: review those parts.
Can I use it to prepare chapters?
The summary and key points give you the list of topics in order, which you can use as the base for chapters. Since the text has no timestamps, you add each chapter's time yourself.
Do you sell my data?
No. The audio is deleted from our servers when done, your account keeps the transcript and its analysis, and we do not sell data to anyone. Full details are in the privacy policy.
